“I have been ranting and raving to my peers, family and friends about your seminar… you had me on the edge of my seat just absorbing all the information you covered! Anyone that can teach [auditing]… in such a fun, exciting and upbeat way… deserves more than just KUDOS. I am already looking into other seminars you teach.”

Holiday Greetings

December 2006

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Instead of boring you with more on the risk assessment SAS’s (I mean who can handle that right now? We are in celebration mode!)... let’s instead poke fun at the AICPA.

An audit poem:

The holidays are here,
And we are of low cheer.
The risk assessment SAS’s make us sad.
We like to cut and paste.
We perform audits with haste.
And the AICPA has made us mad.
A risk assessment for our audits?
A meeting with all the pundits?
Oh no, this is going to be bad!
Why can’t we just call SALY?
SALY doesn’t dilly-dally,
She gets the job done, my lad.
If we can’t rely on PPC,
Old working papers we can’t see,
Our audit budgets we will have to pad.
So raise a glass to toast them,
(We really should just roast ‘em),
Here’s hope that this is just a passing fad.

(SALY stands for Same As Last Year.)

Look, I didn’t promise Dr. Seuss! Much love to you and yours and I’ll talk to you in 2007!
